Big Agnes makes Copper Spur tents a risk-free investment: full-featured, ultralight backpacking shelters that truly easy to pack, set-up and inhabit. Dual doors and steep vertical walls make long trips with a partner or two comfortable. There's enough internal space to ensure that windy, rainy afternoons spent playing dominoes will be easy like Sunday morning.
Copper Spur tents three-season, free-standing, ultralight backpacking tents. DAC Featherlite NSL pole system with press fit connectors, and lightweight hubs. All DAC poles made from TH72M anodized aluminum: the latest technology in lightweight tent poles featuring improved durability. DAC HClip and Twist Clips attaches tent body to cross pole for quick and easy set-up.
Tent body is ultra lightweight nylon and polyester mesh and provides excellent ventilation. Floor is ultralight silicone treated nylon rip-stop with a 1200mm waterproof polyurethane coating. Fly is ultralight silicone treated nylon rip-stop with a 1200mm waterproof polyurethane coating. All seams taped with waterproof, solvent-free polyurethane (No PVC or VOC's) tape. Reflective guyline and reflective webbing on tent corners for nighttime visibility. Tent body has two doors, and two vestibules with single stake outs and storm flaps over zippers. 8 Superlight anodized aluminum J stakes included. Footprint sold separately.
To extend the life of your tent floor, it is recommended to use a Big Agnes footprint or ground cloth. The Big Agnes footprint also enables you to pitch a lightweight, Fast Fly shelter while leaving the tent body behind. The Fast Fly configuration requires the footprint, tent fly, poles and stakes.
